Who operates this utility
Personal Backup is operated by an individual for backing up that individual's own data. It is not a public service and does not accept other users or their accounts.
Google data accessed
The utility uses Google OAuth authorization and the https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.file permission. This allows the utility to create and manage Drive files within that permission's limits, including files it creates or the account owner opens with it. It does not request permission to browse unrelated Drive files.
Purpose and use
Google Drive access is used exclusively to store, update, retrieve, and remove encrypted backup archives for the owner's own backup and restoration activities. It is not used for advertising, profiling, analytics, or sale of information.
Storage and security
The backup workflow is designed to encrypt archive contents locally before uploading to Google Drive. OAuth credentials and tokens are kept in the owner's controlled system configuration, not in this website. Google stores the uploaded archives under the owner's Google account according to Google's applicable terms.
Sharing and retention
The utility does not sell or share Google user data with advertisers or unrelated third parties. Data is transmitted to Google solely to operate the requested Drive storage. The account owner controls archive retention and may remove created files from Drive or revoke OAuth access through Google Account settings.
This website
These pages do not provide user registration, forms, or first-party analytics. The hosting and network providers may process standard connection information needed to serve the pages and protect their services. No Google account data is collected through this website.

The account owner can use the support email listed on the Google OAuth consent screen for questions about this utility. This policy will be updated if the purpose, access permissions, or handling of Google user data changes.
